Merchant Signup

This activity involves ensuring merchant establishments accept all types of cards issued either by Visa International, MasterCard International or American Express and its related corporations which include its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates or their respective licensees or strategic alliance partners.

Merchant Set up

This activity involves

• Training merchant establishments on card acceptance procedures.
• Communicating to the merchant establishments the acquiring bank value story in line with the script as provided by the bank.
• Enrolling merchants into various loyalty programs as determined from time to time by the bank.

Merchant Activation

This activity involves:

• Activating merchants as per the definition of “Active Merchant” mutually defined.
• Launching and implementing any “Merchant Activation Program” designed by the bank from time to time.

Activation of merchant will form a core responsibility of the service provider along with Merchant signing & Merchant Setup.
